AT&T is under fire for showing smartphone users the 5G logo on handsets- even though they are not connected to the much anticipated next generation network. The cellular giant has updated three smartphones from Samsung and LG to show a '5G E' logo. The firm has rebranded part of its existing LTE network as '5G Evolution' in a move many see as a way to mislead customers.
