CableLabs is working with Wi-Fi ecosystem partners to advance a technology called Dual Channel Wi-Fi, which is designed to improve the performance of Wi-Fi so it delivers a stronger and more reliable connection. Its not intended to compete with cellulars 5G technology, according to CableLabs Chief Technology Officer Belal Hamzeh.
