California's landmark net neutrality bill faces obstacles - CNET

All eyes are on California today as a bill that would replace the Federal Communications Commission'srepealed Obama era net neutrality rules within the state faces its first legislative test. Senate Bill 822, written by state Sen. Scott Wiener, a Democrat from San Francisco, will have its first hearing before the Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee, which could gut key provisions of the legislation.
