CenturyLink has teamed up with Corning to deploy 4.7 million miles of fiber across the company's intercity networks in the U.S. and Europe. The first phase of the fiber overbuild is already in the books as of last month with more than 50 cities across the U.S. connected with Corning's low-loss fiber.
