The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the acquisition of Hawaiian Telcom by Cincinnati Bell, the final approval needed for the deal to close. The deal already received a green light from the Hawai’I Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and that of the Hawai‘i Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ Cable Television Division.
