Former Sprint CEO Says Company Can Survive Without T-Mobile Merger

Sprint Corp. Executive Chairman Marcelo Claure went rogue Monday when he testified that the wireless carrier would be a viable stand-alone company without merging with T-Mobile US Inc. Claure's testimony contradicts other Sprint (NYSE: S) and T-Mobile (Nasdaq: TMUS) executives who have appeared as witnesses in the antitrust suit brought by 14 attorneys general from states and the District of Columbia.
