Goodbye Fake Reviews: How To Earn Tokens For Telling The Truth

August 22, 2018

Ever feel a sense of disappointment when you read a book after a rave review but didn’t love it? Or realizing that the hotel you stayed in was nothing like the photos? That’s exactly what happened to software entrepreneurs Petar Slovic and Ivan Ciric, one bad hotel stay later and they arrived home with a hangover and a new social concept- Review.Network.

This blockchain based software rewards users for telling the truth, and has some big attractions for those in the market research sector.

The story behind the network

After a successful summit in Ljubljana, Slovic and Ciric wanted to spend some time in Slovenia exploring the sights. They trawled the internet for somewhere great to stay and like most of us, they checked out the reviews only to be in for a massive shock when they arrived.

Slovic said,

"First of all there was a sign at the front desk that read “back in 5”, finally more than 15-minutes later two bedraggled employees stumbled back and took us to our room. Then we realized it had a broken window and a dripping AC.

The stunning pool in the photos turned out to be a health hazard and we realized that there was no way those reviews could have been real. A few beers and 3 hours of planning later, Review.Network was conceived!”
