A Guide to the 2020 Democrats Views on Net Neutrality

Democrats in Congress have discussed net neutrality consistently for more than a year, but will the issue reach the level of presidential politics as the party decides who will square off against President Donald Trump in the 2020 election? Since the repeal of the rules by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 2017, there have been numerous Democrat-led attempts to reverse the decision. Last year, both chambers of Congress attempted to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn the repeal, and while they did get bipartisan support in the Senate, lawmakers were unable to wrangle the necessary votes in the House.
