Spanish operator R, owned by Euskaltel and operating mainly in Galicia, has reached the milestone of 1 million fiber accesses across the region. A total of 808,000 homes and 194,000 businesses in 134 localities can now access fiber-based broadband at speeds of up to 500 Mbps, said the operator, adding that it currently has around 300,000 fiber customers.
