Sprint/T-Mobile merger will face House committees' joint hearing

Two U.S. House committees will hold a joint hearing Feb. 13 on the $26.5 billion merger between Sprint Corp and T-Mobile US Inc. The Judiciary and Energy and Commerce committees scheduled the hearing to "examine the effects on important issues like jobs, costs to consumers, innovation and competition," the chairmen of both committees said in a joint statement.
