Bragging rights for the fastest wireless network at the end of 2018 went to T-Mobile--though just barely, according to a new report. The third-largest carrier had the fastest network on average for downloading data in the fourth quarter, according to research firm OpenSignal, which measures mobile data speeds via an app test used by hundreds of thousands of ordinary consumers.
